In Islam religion, nothing is called original sin that you are born with. You are born pure and free from any sin. However, you are taught what is good and what is not. You are taught God commands for what you are allowed to do and what you are not allowed to do. Then you have the choice to do what you want. In the mean time you hold the responsibility, in front of God, of what you choose to do and of what you don't. If you do something you are not allowed to do per religion (ie per Quran guides and prophet Muhammad teachings) then you committed a sin and you are sinful. If you ask for God forgiveness, you may be forgiven, per God will, and your sin is wiped out.
In the after life you will be judged, on the Day of Judgment, on all your doings during your earth life. On this day, your deeds will be judged by God. Accordingly, having good deeds, you will be rewarded, by God mercy, by eternal life in the Paradise. If having bad deeds, you will be punished by Pushing you in the Hell fire unless being forgiven by God. God, promised to forgive all your sins (per His will), if you sincerely repent , except the sin of worshiping partner to the one and only one God, the Creator, who has no son, no father, no companion, and no resemblance..
It depends on the religion. Some religions, such as Christianity and Islam, consider it a horrible sin to leave. Definitely a good scare tactic to keep believers believing...
Yes, it is a sin. Per Islam and Quran Golden rules, there is no compulsion in religion (see related question below on Quran Golden Rules). You should have full free will to believe in the religion that chose. However, you should know also that free choice is responsibility. You hold responsible of your choice in front of God, the Creator, on the Last Day of Judgment. The other point, if you chose to convert into Islam then your choice should be based on true belief in Islam and in Islam principles and not solely based on making your marriage legible (see related question below on Islam main principles).
Abortion is a sin in Islam. But of course there are are exceptations.
There is no sin. Sin is an invention of religion. Sin does not exist outside of religion. Violence comes from man's desire to wreck havoc upon his fellow man, this includes Christianity that desires to dominate the world in the same manner Islam seeks to dominate the world and subjugate humanity to its perverse desires.
Islam does teach that Adam ate of the tree, but Islam does not teach that sin is hereditary.
If the question is understood well then the answer is that: Strong belief and faith in God (Allah in Arabic) and his prophet Muhammad (PBUH) protects you from committing sins. It is to be understood that In Islam religion, nothing is called original sin that you are born with. You are born pure and free from any sin. However, you are taught what is good and what is bad through Quran guides and prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teachings. it is because Allah will forgive one's all sin and he will definitely enter the heaven
Mohammed the Prophet synthesized it out of parts of Christianity, Judaism and Sin-worship ("Sin" being the name of the Middle Eastern Moongod, not a synonym for misbehaviour. Sinai is named for him.)
not sure but it is a sin to commit suicide in Islam as is in Christianity. It's a sin in Islam to commit suicide
Suicide is a personal matter which has nothing to do with religion. Islam does not condone suicide .
Belief in God is subjective and varies among individuals and cultures. Some religions may consider it a sin to not believe in God, while others may not. It ultimately depends on the beliefs and teachings of the specific religion in question.
Yes. Of course Imams marry; in fact, marriage is half of the emaan of a person. Islam is unique and Islam is a complete religion. Islam is the way of life and to live your life in a good manner you need to marry to prevent yourself from sin, from forbidden acts, and Islam teaches you how to do that. So there isn't anything in the religion like 'imams can't do this or that.'
