Abraham had two sons, Isaac and ishmael. ishmael was the older of the two whom Abraham had with his bondservent, this is not what God intended. thus Abraham had another son with his wife fufilling Gods promise. as they became older ishmael and his mother left abrahams camp and pursued there own way of doing things. Muslims followed the ways of ishmael and christians followed the wats of isaac. this is why there are so many things that appear to be the same between Muslims and christians, but believe me there are many similarities the few differences are drastic.
