Interesting question. There is no one ethnicity that one is in order to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses. As a matter of fact scripture states that people will be chosen out of all tribes of all tongues and that Jehovah God is not a respector of persons. "In all nations" Jesus himself stated "the one doing the will of my father will remain." Anyone can recognize truth when they hear it and respond to it if they so choose. If that person goes on increasing in knowledge and observing The Bible's commandments they can also be a witness of Jehovah as Isaiah 43:10 states. The first "witnesses of Jehovah" as the above scripture alludes to were the Jews. Later it was those Jews who believed that Jesus was the promised Messiah and after that, those who converted from pagan religions or beliefs other then the Jewish faith (the gentiles), of which Cornelius was the first. Nowadays, since the advent of the faith in name, any person who is called back to worshipping Jehovah god in spirit in truth in word and in deed, are also witnesses of him.
