The Islamic religion is likely going to go in the same direction that Christianity is currently going; large membership increases in developing nations, and steep membership decreases in developed nations. As people become more educated they start to think that many of the impositions placed upon them by religious leaders are, if not wrong are downright ridiculous. Most Islamic people are reasonable and caring people who are happy to coexist with others. there is loud and active minority of them however that wish to keep many Muslims as ignorant and poor as possible because they know that their power lays in the maintenance of ignorance and fear.

it increases by number everyday, and we muslims do not listen so much to religieus leaders. We have alhamdulillah(God thanks) our Quran and Sunnah (in arabic and translated to many languages). So nobody can fool us.

According to the teachings of Islam, all humans are the off-spring of a single couple - Hazrat Adam (AS) and Hazrat Hawa (AS), so all of them are brotheren. They have equal rights, only the pious are considered superiour by Almighty God. Islam is above racial discrimination. No Arab has superiority to Npn-Arab,Noe white man has any superiourity to a Black man-the only criteria is piety. According to the prophecy of the Last Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhamad (SAW), Hazrat Jesus Christ (AS) wil descent from the heaven, fight against the non-believers and Islam will hold superamacy in the world, before the day of Judgement.

Islam, as a set of ideas, is likely to expand. More and more people outside of the Islamic World are converting to Islam and people within the Islamic Law are unable to leave the religion on threat of death. So, naturally, the numbers of people who will hold to adhere to Islam is set to increase.

Islam, referring to the worldwide community of Muslims, has a future that appears much darker to me. The Rise of Islamism across the world (not just the Islamic World) is resulting in more Muslims killing other Muslims than has previously occurred and pressuring more and more Muslims to forsake a pluralist, secular society for the machinations of militant groups and paramilitaries. Unless the minority of vocal Pro-Secular Muslims can change this momentum and "revert" the Muslim community to the way it was in the 1960s or better, Muslims are likely to have many more dark days in the near future than bright ones.
