What a great question.
There are a couple of points here. There are the shamanistic traditions that have been absorbed into mainstream Tibetan Buddhism and there is also Bonpo, a form of Buddhism which has said to have integrated traditional Tibetan belief structures with Buddhism.
We need to be careful with the terminology here, shamanism normally implies a changed or extra state of consciousness in order to access energy/spirits/knowledge not available normally.
The teachings of Buddhism/Bonpo maintain that in our natural uncorrected state we see everything clearly and the spiritual path is about letting go of the 'corrected' mental states.
