The first thing that came to mind, for me, were the Greater Antiphons, which occur at Vespers for the seven days before Christmas, these refer to Old Testament images of the Christ, "O Wisdom, O Sacred Lord, O Flower of Jesse's stem, O Key of David, O Radiant Dawn, O King of all the nations, O Emmanuel" but you asked for each day of Advent, not just the week before Christmas.

You are probably thinking of an Advent calendar which has twenty-four windows on it, referring to the twenty-four days before Christmas (NOT strictly each day of Advent). Each door opens to reveal something, often a Scripture verse referring to the coming of the Messiah on the 25th.
