Artist Gab Max painted an image of Jesus Christ, titled 'Veronica's Veil,' in 1874. A private collector in Europe purchased the original painting for around 25,000 dollars.
Bacchus was painted by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio. This painting has been dated to circa 1595. If painted then, Caravaggio would have been only 24 at the time the work was made.
The painting is not dated but believed to have been painted about 1880-1885, according to the Boston art museum.
Some people think history should be dated differently because they don't believe jesus Christ
whats the painting wearth
Unfortunately it is not dated.
The earliest dated of Rembrandt's paintings is The Stoning of St. Stephen, painted at 19 in 1625; it currently resides in Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon.
About 1955, it is not dated.
It is unknown but it is dated February 1638
Leonardo Da Vinci's first painting was the "Virgin of the Rocks", it was completed in 1480
Nope, no, never, not possible. How would anyone have known how far in the future Jesus was to be born? And given that there were no Christians at the time, why would anyone have honored Him with a coin?
There seems to be quite a few reverse glass painted pictures of the us capitol dated 1917. Were these copied from an earlier painting ? They are similar but not the same in detail as mine. The 1917 ones were made by the Chicago Portrait Co. Thanks...Bob
Sorry - painting is a watercolour and is dated 1922
