In the Bible, there are two thieves crucified alongside Jesus, one on his right and one on his left. The thief on Jesus' right is traditionally believed to have been saved because he repented and asked Jesus to remember him when he entered his kingdom. This is recounted in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 23, verses 39-43. The thief on Jesus' left, however, is not described as being saved in the biblical account.
