The period of about 500 BC to 200 BC is a great era in China, and many great philosophies came into being.
eastern philosophy Confucionism originated in China, Buddhism in India.

Daoism (Taoism) and Confucianism are systems of ethics and suggested behavior that originated in China about 2300-2500 years ago. They have since been incorporated into various religions, and have come to be thought of as religions, but they were not originally religious in nature.
