What was the best thing that Islam did?

The best thing done by Islam is, from my own view point, the human rights declared by Prophet Muhammad (peace upon him) on his sermon on Hajj. He said that no difference among people due to color or race and that women and orphans rights should be respected. Human rights were declared in Islam religion in the seventh century before being declared by the United Nations the twentieth century.
