Moses was saved from Pharaoh's soldiers, who would have thrown him in the river as per Pharaoh's orders if they had found him.
He was also saved from Pharaoh's sword (Exodus 18:4), because Pharaoh had tried to have Moses killed (ibid. 2:15) after Moses smote the cruel Egyptian taskmaster (ibid. 2:11-12).
