When Jesus was on the cross, he was next to twothieves. One asked him that if when Jesus went to heaven after He died, that he would remember him. Jesus replied to him and said that that day he would be in paradise with him.

Jesus was Jewish and therefore attended Synagogue on Saturday. After his death, the Apostles began holding Christian church services on Sunday (Acts 20:7).

We do not know how many times Jesus preached in the synagogues. There are many references on this in all the gospels; but here is one that will give you an idea: And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Matthew 9.35)
To be thrown out of a synagogue was very humilating to a Jew. And in those days before Christ the people made yearly trips to the temple to make sacrifices os clean animals in their place. But after Christs death on the cross there is no need to do that.
