The Divine Being, the Word, was with God from eternity. He came in the flesh and took on the role as the 1st begotten 'Son of God/Man in circa 5-4 BC.John 1:1-3New International Version (NIV)John 1The Word Became Flesh In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
The answer lies in the fact that God, like you and I, has three parts: a body, a soul, and a spirit. The body of God has many names. One name, as revealed by John 1:1, is "the Word." "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 Like you said, the Word created all things. "He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being." John 1:2-3 The Word became a Son when He became a man through Mary. "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the Father, full of grace and truth."
i suppose it just comes from languagethe original word was man - the greek word and then God made several languages and eventually ......dada humans the word for male and females in englishAnd the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. [ GENESIS 2:7.]Bing made from the dust, or humus of the ground, it is logical Man is called human.
It's a very interesting question. Genesis 2:7 explains how did God create Adam, it says: "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." As you can see, it explains that man was not given a soul but that he BECAME a soul when God gave him life.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1,3,4) And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Gen. 2:7) The source of all life is the eternal God, creator of heaven and earth.
All the created things are described as good (Genesis ch.1), since they were God's purposeful creations. See also:Is there evidence for Creation? Can you show that God exists?Seeing God's wisdom
