Jesus met Peter by the Sea of Galilee , as Peter was a fisherman, with his brother Andrew.
Andrew introduced Peter to Jesus. Andrew had been a disciple of John the Baptist.
A:
The synoptic gospels say that Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee and saw the brothers Peter and Andrew fishing, and called them to him (Mark 1:16). John's Gospel says that Andrew was a disciple of John the Baptist; John told Andrew to follow Jesus, after which Andrew ran to fetch Peter and bring him to Jesus.
Many have sought to reconcile the synoptic account with that of John's Gospel, although not very convincingly when the texts are carefully read. However, on this view, Jesus first met Peter when Andrew brought him from his house, and when Jesus saw them by the seaside, this was a second meeting.
Jesus started his public ministry at 30 years of age in about the year AD30 and Peter was one of the first to join the apostles.
When Jesus was being taken away by the soldiers, his most beloved disciple, Peter, cut off the ear of one of the soldiers' slaves in an attempt to protect his Lord. Jesus rebuked him, touched the year of the slave, and restored it to it's place.
Bethsaida was Peter's home city, (John 1.44), and when he became a disciple of Jesus, Peter returned there three times with the disciples, (Mark 6.45 and 8.22; Luke 9.10). But there is no Biblical record to give any time that Peter departed from Bethsaida.
I read that that this online... when he died... " The Annuario Pontificio year of Peter's death as A.D. 64 or A.D. 67. Some scholars believe that he died on October 13 A.D. 64." But the Bible never really stated how old he was.
Peter was crucified upside down, in the year 64A.D. in Rome, as his birth date is not known we can not tell his real age.

Early in his Galilean ministry (30 or early 31 C.E.) Jesus Christ called Matthew from the tax office in or near Capernaum. (Matthew 9:1, 9; Mark 2:1, 13, 14) 'Leaving everything behind, Matthew rose up and went following Jesus.' (Luke 5:27, 28)
