Trumpet
The player speeds up or slows down the speed of the air being blown through the trumpet.
They just look awesome and shiny and professional.
You have probably heard somebody talk about the "last trump"? It means a trumpet. A loud trumpet is blown to herald the return of Christ.
There is very little similarity between a trumpet and a flute other than that they are both musical instruments, they are both constructed of metal (but different metals), and they both use air in motion to produce sound. The trumpet, however, is usually placed with the horns, or brass instruments, while the flute is considered a woodwind. The mouthpiece of the trumpet is blown directly into, the flute is blown across. The trumpet uses valves to alter the pitch, the flute, keys. The trumpet usually starts at F# (below middle C) and has a range of 2 1/2 octaves. The flute begins at middle C with a range of 3 octaves. The trumpet uses an exponentially flared horn at the exit end to amplify sound. The flute uses no amplification system. The air channel of the trumpet is coiled, the flute, straight.
Tuba is the straight trumpet. The curved trumpet used by the military to signal orders, etc. was called a "bucina" and was blown by a bucinator.
The pitch can be changed by tightening or loosening the lips (embouchure), depressing a valve or valves and by moving tuning slides. The pitch can also be affected by temperature and by the density of the gas being blown through it. Try playing a trumpet with a lungful of helium.
Believe it or not it depends how loud you play it. However overall in general playing the Tuba will require a greater reserve of air.
The people of Israel were led to Jericho under the leadership of Joshua. The instruments blown by the seven priests were trumpets.
Trumpet
No, trumpets gave in those days only the so called natural notes. This piece however contains many more notes than what a trumpet could offer. It could have been played on trombones and cornetti, a lip-blown instrument with finger holes.
you need to use a buzzing sound this might sound a bit weird but you can practice it by looking into a mirror and spitting or even spitting out a seed. your lips need to be tight and firm. when you are blowing from a trumpet you can think of it kind of like you are holding a ball.
