When does marriage first appear in the bible?

The Bible only mention in Gen 2:18 about a man and woman, but not marriage; the same in other places. Therefore, it was only an inference.

The word marriage was created by man for justification of man and woman being together. The word Common law marriage was created to justify the actions of a man and woman living together under the same roof for more than 3 months.
