Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God... shewing mercy unto thousands of them that Love Me, and Keep My Commandments." (verses 4-6)
Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Also in Luke 4:12
A:The meaning of this is that you cannot get anything out of God by using temptation.

By quoting the following straight from the New Testament:Luke {1:30} And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. {1:31}. and, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Covet means to desire something wrongfully. To inordinately want something that belongs to somebody else. Pretty much to want something so much you could take it from somebody else without feeling any guilt.
"...these are the Commandments, the statutes, and the Judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: that thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all His statutes and His Commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged... thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these are the words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. (Deut.6:1-7)
The Ten Commandments tell to not kill. Here they are: 1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me, 2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, 3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain, 4. Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy, 5. Honor thy father and thy mother, 6. Thou shalt not kill, 7. Thou shall not commit adultery, 8. Thou shalt not steal, 9. Thou shall not bear false witness, 10. Thou shall not covet commit thy neighbor's wife, nor thy neighbor's goods. This is the abbreviated version. The entire text is found in Exodus 20. But to understand the commandment, it is important to know that God instituted capital punishment in the very next chapter. The true meaning of "Thou shalt not kill" is found when Jesus stated it: "Thou shalt do no murder." Matthew 19:18
