1 Peter 5;13 has Peter in Babylon: "The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son." Nowhere does it mention that he was in Rome. Paul had said that he didn't wish to go where another had: "Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation..." Romans 15;20. Yet even though he went to Rome as a prisoner, he never mentions Peter, which would be an insult, if Peter had been there.
The apostles in the Bible were twelve men chosen by Jesus to spread his teachings. They were Simon Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot. They traveled with Jesus, witnessed his miracles, and after his death, they spread his message throughout the world, establishing the early Christian church.
Jesus meant that they were fishers of men, and that means that Jesus told them to spread the good news.
The apostle Andrew was originally a fisherman by trade, working alongside his brother Simon Peter on the Sea of Galilee. After being called by Jesus to be a disciple, he left his fishing business to spread the message of Christianity. Andrew is often recognized for being one of the first disciples to follow Jesus and for his role in bringing others to Him, including Peter.
The 12 apostles in the Bible were Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot. They were chosen by Jesus to spread his teachings and establish the Christian faith. Each apostle played a unique role in sharing the message of Jesus, with Peter often seen as the leader among them.

Simon
There is no historical record indicating that Simon of Cyrene died in the same place as Jesus. Simon of Cyrene is known for helping Jesus carry the cross to Golgotha, but there is no further mention of him in relation to Jesus' crucifixion.
Simon of Cyrene.
Yes, Jesus heals Simon's mother-in-law in the Bible.
In Matthew 16:17-19, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven." Jesus was affirming Peter's faith and declaring him as the foundation of the church. The "keys of the kingdom of heaven" symbolize Peter's authority and leadership in spreading the message of Jesus and guiding the early Christian community.
Simon was no blood relation to Jesus. Jesus simply chose him to be His disciple, and later gave him his new surname, Peter, (Mark 3.16).
