Muslims stone symbols of the Devil at Mina (a town close to Makkah or Mecca) in Saudi Arabia during Hajj (or pilgrimage)
When Hazrat Abraham (AS) took Hazrat Ismaiel (AS) to sacrifice him out of Makka, Satan came to lure them at three different places. Hazrat Abraham (AS) stoned him three times. These places have been marked in the field of Mina - about five kilometers from Ka'aba. The Muslims stone the Big Devil on the 10th Zilhajja and then stone the three devils on 11th and 12th, in some cases on 13th as well.
