This thought does not exist in The Bible as regards to Jesus earthly life.

While Jesus was to be installed as the permanent King of the Kingdom, he told his followers that his kingdom was no part of the world.

(John 18:36) 36 Jesus answered: "My Kingdom is no part of this world. If my Kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my Kingdom is not from this source."

Jesus was very humble and had no desires to be an aggressive ruler. In fact, there was an incident when the crowd wanted to grab him and make him king, but he withdrew to avoid a scene..

(John 6:14, 15) 14 When the people saw the sign he performed, they began to say: "This really is the Prophet who was to come into the world." 15 Then Jesus, knowing that they were about to come and seize him to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain all alone.

However, in Luke chapter 19, Jesus does discuss the destruction of any enemies of the Messianic kingdom (his heavenly kingdom). This kingdom, under Christ's rule, will last forever.

Another answer:

This isn't exactly as Jesus stated it... but He's talking prophetically, here, about the time when He returns with His army of angels and His saints, and is in the process of establishing His Kingdom on the earth. He will not be the meek Lamb led to the slaughter as He came the first time... but He is coming back in the POWER and GLORY of God Almighty [see Matt.24:30].

Speaking of Himself when He returns, He reveals Himself to His servants as the no-nonsense All-Powerful King that He presently is, who COMMANDS AND DEMANDS THE OBEDIENCE OF HIS SERVANTS; and not the powerless "Lamb to the Slaughter" as modern professing Christianity pictures Him, today:

"When He returned, the King called in the servants [His saints] to whom He had given money... the King replied, 'but to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who are unfaithful, even what little they have will be taken away. And now ABOUT THESE ENEMIES OF MINE WHO DIDN'T WANT ME TO BE THEIR KING - bring them in and EXECUTE THEM RIGHT HERE IN MY PRESENCE." (Luke 19:15 & 26-27 NLT New Living Translation)

"...when the Son of Man COMES IN HIS GLORY, and alll the angels with Him, THEN He will sit upon His Glorious throne. ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE GATHERED IN HIS PRESENCE, and He will separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on His Right Hand and the goats at His left. Then the King will say to those on the Right, 'Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world." (Matt. 25:31-34 NLT)

"...The harvest is the end of the world [age], and the harvesters are the angels. Just as the weeds are separated out and burned, so it will be at the end of the world [age]. I, the Son of Man, will SEND MY ANGELS, and THEY WILL REMOVE FROM MY KINGDOM EVERYTHING THAT CAUSES SIN and ALL WHO DO EVIL [all of Christ's enemies who don't want them to be their King], and they will throw them into the furnace and burn them. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'" (Matt.13:39-42 NLT)

This world has no idea who the REAL JESUS is... the soon-returning KING and All-Powerful, Glorious Ruler of the earth!
