There are many scenarios for the Crucifixion of Christ. The Greek word for hand, like the Russian (from the Cyryllic) can be just the hand, the hand and the wrist, the hand and forearm, or the whole arm. No one seems to know for sure.

Given that the New Testament does not provide exact details of the process of Jesus' crucifixion, various elements of the method employed have been subject to debate. One may be surprised to learn that the traditional cross of 2 crossed beams 't' shape are also in question. Was it simply a pole, a tree, an 'x' shape? No one knows for sure yet there is sufficient historical documentation for this event. Even Islam notes it though they do not believe it to be so that Christ Himself, was crucified and risen to Heaven.
