Between year 2002 and 2004 ,a renowned India News magazzine "the Outlook), or possible "India Today", had published a cover story of this caste owing to the fact the next State Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar were likely to see a vote swing on the basis of caste of the electoral.
