English speaking people use the Roman Alphabet. Russian speaking people use the Cyrillic Alphabet. The A is the same. The B looks different.
Yugoslavia no longer exists. When the country existed there were about 6 national languages (depending on how you define a language) and 2 alphabets. The alphabets are the Latin Alphabet (as used in English: ABCD, etc.) and the Cyrillic Alphabet (like the alphabet used in Russia and Bulgaria). The Cyrillic Alphabet was manily used by people in Serbia and Macedonia.

Wikipedia lists nine articles relating to "Slavic alphabet", and all of them come from Saint Cyril. It appears that Cyril invented the alphabet that bears his name, rather than adapting the Greek alphabet. He did it so he could print bibles in the peoples' native languages and teach them to read, not to "teach religion". In the Cyrilic alphabet, these letters would represent the old abbreviation for the Soviet Union. The Russian words would translate: Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The Cyrillic alphabet can be confusing for people who are unfamiliar with it. Cyrillic C resprents the sound /s/, while P repesents /p/. So CCCP stands for Soyuz Sovyetskikh Sotsialistichestikh Respublic. which stand for Souyz=united Sovyetskikh=Soviet Sotasilalistichestikh=Socailist Respublic=Republic together that makes the Union of Soviet Socailist Republics, USSR,CCCP,SSSR all of those
Prussia and Austria are not similar due to their history of descendants and people who ruled it. Moreover, Prussia was inhabited by salvic and Baltic tribes.
