Who is Mohammed and what did he do to begin the fairth of Islam?

Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) is the final prophet who was sent to guide the whole of mankind and lead them to the striaght path. He received revelations from Allah via the Angel Jibril, which he then precahed to inform people of Islam.

was normal man among the Arab people in Saudi Arabia, but at the age of 40, while he was at Qari Hira (mountain at makkah), God sent him angel gabriel, and the angel asked him to recite the name of God, and repeated that 3 times and Mohamed (pbuh) finaly recite it. After that God revealed on him first 6 verses in chapter 96 in the Quran.
