Abraham is considered the father of the Hebrew people.
Hebrews, Israelites and Jews are the same people in different historical eras.
Abraham (18th century BCE), tenth-generation descendant of Noah, of Hebrew lineage, was the son of Terah, uncle of Lot, father of Isaac, grandfather of Jacob, and forefather of the Israelites. His story is in Genesis ch.11 (end), through ch.25. Jewish tradition states that he was the first to actively spread belief in One God; and it is in his merit that Jews continue to exist (Genesis 18:19, and ch.17).
Genesis 47 details Joseph's settlement of the Israelites in Egypt.
Descendants of the Israelites are called just that; Israelites. Since our Creator changed their ancestor's name to Israel, his descendants have always been Israelites, of course, also being identified with their tribe.
Abraham, ancestor of the Israelites, lived 3800 years ago. Moses was 3300 years ago.
Abraham was the ancestor of the Israelites, Arabs, Edumeans, and certain other Semitic tribes. See Genesis 25.
Ruth
1) Nahor was the ancestor of Rebecca, Rachel and Leah. 2) Nahor was the ancestor of various enemies of the Israelites, including Bil'am and Lavan (Balaam and Laban).
'Babylonians' is another name for 'Chaldeans'. The term 'Chaldean' originally referred only to the people of southern Babylonia. In fact, it was precisely that part of Babylonia that Abraham, first ancestor of the Israelites, was from.
The question as written makes no sense; Israelites had formed a civilization and then argued that they would have a king in the future who would be responsible for earth-shattering actions, who would be termed the "Messiah". So no Messiah is the ancestor of the Israelites, but the Messiah will be the descendant of the Israelites.Conversely, Biblical tradition holds that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel are the ancestors of all Israelites. However, these Patriarchs are not considered Messiahs.

Moses
In Islamic tradition, Ishmael is considered to be older than Isaac. Ishmael was born to Abraham and Hagar, while Isaac was born to Abraham and Sarah. Isaac is considered to be the ancestor of the Israelites, while Ishmael is considered to be the ancestor of the Arabs.
The Israelites are considered to be God's chosen people because according to the Bible, God made a covenant with them through their ancestor Abraham. This covenant promised that they would be a special people to God, and that God would bless them and protect them. The Israelites were chosen to be a light to the nations and to bring about God's plan for salvation.
