This statement is untrue. Although Benjamin Franklin DID state this in a letter to French physicist and writer, Jean- Baptiste Leroy. Daniel Defoe, in fact, said the statement, " Things as certain as death and taxes can be more firmly believed."
Proving the above statement wrong.
The only certainty we all have in life, is death
Edward Ward in his 1724 'Dancing Devils' where he wrote 'Death and Taxes, they are certain.' Then there was Christopher Bullock had written in his 'Cobbler of Preston' (1716), ''Tis impossible to be sure of anything but death and taxes!'
The phrase "the only constant in life is change" is often attributed to the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus. It reflects the idea that change is a fundamental and inevitable part of existence.
There are few religions which do not believe in life after death. If there were no life after death what would be the pond of this life. This life is only for us to prepare to meet God. It is part of a ongoing life for us. It will be the only earth life we will experience, for we will go on to greater things.
We do not have enough personal information to be able to answer that question with certainty. One can only speculate.

Death and taxes
This statement reflects skepticism about certainty itself, suggesting that uncertainty is the only constant in life. It invites contemplation on the limitations of human knowledge and the ever-changing nature of reality. It aligns with the philosophical concept of skepticism and the idea that absolute certainty may be unattainable.
No. Use certainty or sureness. Also positivism is used, but only for a particular philosophical school of thought or a dogmatic certainty.
Usually the only difference between accidental death life insurance and regular life insurance is the name, although sometimes an accidental death life insurance will pay out more money if the death is accidental.
Death after life. One is born, they live, and then they die. It is the nature of life, and that is okay. It would be naive and ignorant to assume there is an afterlife. Live your life as though it is the only one you'll have. Don't waste your life away, for you should assume it is the only one you will get to experience. It would be delusional and in vain to think you have another chance.
Certainty is possible only to a certain extent according to most philosophers. This is a state where there is knowledge that has error in and leaves no doubt in the mind.
