We are not give the name of Pharaoh's son who was killed in the 10th plague in Egypt.
Moses was kept hidden in the bull rushes , as the ruler of Egypt had given an order that all baby boys should be killed. And Moses mother hid him.
He was treated well, and raised in the context of royalty. Pharaoh sought to have him killed after he (Moses) killed a cruel Egyptian taskmaster (Exodus ch.2), but that was after Moses had already grown up.
He had been told in a dream that the a Jewish boy born during this period of time would destroy him. He wanted to wipe out any possibility of this happening. This is why Moses was put into a basket and floated on the Nile.
Amram and Jochebed (Exodus 6:20) The Hebrew Bible says Moses was the son of Amram and his wife Jochebed. They were members of the Levite tribes and immigrated to Egypt. Exodus also says that Jochebed set Moses adrift on the Nile after the Pharaoh (unnamed) ordered all Hebrew born male children be killed. He was found and taken in by the Pharaoh's daughter.
Moses was hidden in a basket on the Nile River to avoid being killed according to a command of Pharaoh. Pharaoh's daughter found him and adopted him as her own. His mother was unwittingly employed to nurse him.
Moses was saved from Pharaoh's soldiers, who would have thrown him in the river as per Pharaoh's orders if they had found him. He was also saved from Pharaoh's sword (Exodus 18:4), because Pharaoh had tried to have Moses killed (ibid. 2:15) after Moses smote the cruel Egyptian taskmaster (ibid. 2:11-12).
