Who is this Greek god named Zeus? Zeus was a tall man and had a grey beard. He also had a white robe that covered most of his body and had the body of young man. Zeus's parents where two great Titans. Named Rhea (mother of the gods) and Cronus (ruler of the universe). Zeus was the ruler of all gods. Mount Olympus the home Greeks mightiest gods where Zeus was lived and ruled. In Roman they called this great and powerful god Jupiter.

Zeus had a variety of great powers. He ruled the sky and he was able to manipulate electricity and thunder. Zeus's symbols where the thunder bolt, shield, eagle, and the oak tree. The thunder bolt was the strongest weapon from all the other gods and goddess weapons. The Cyclops made him that weapon when the Titans and the gods clashed. He also made weapons for Zeus's brothers and sisters. Zeus's shield represented that Zeus was a warrior and with one shake of his shield it would cause a storm. The oak tree represented the blood line of Zeus's family.

Zeus did not become a god with ease. First had to overthrow his father, Cronus (ruler of the universe). When he did he freed his brothers and sisters . Since Zeus became the new ruler of the universe, he did not want to rule alone. So he shared his powers with his siblings and shared Mount Olympus with them. Zeus had many wife's, one of his first wife's was Metis ,a Titans daughter. He also had many kids. Zeus had a really big family. They all had different opinions that made them argue and fight allot . That's when Zeus would grab one of his mighty thunderbolts and threw it to have order again. All of Zeus's family knew that he was so strong that he can wipe all of them out with his mighty powers.
