Well, that is according to their belief. There are foods that are forbidden for some religion but not for the others. Christianity belief in The Bible but they didn't follow what the Bible teaches them. Regarding the foods; well you can turn to the book of Leviticus. Read the whole chapter. But, most christian today tends to neglect the teaching of the Bible. In 1Timothy 4:1-4; clearly stated that the teaching of the false prophets... all foods are good.. if receives with the blessing of the Lord. We cannot depend on one particular text. We need to go through the whole chapter...... Jesus said in the book of Matthew... I come not to destroy the law but to fulfill.. Heaven and earth shall pass but not a dot will be removed..
