In Mark's Gospel, Jesus spoke the last words, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" which is certainly puzzling, especially in the light of the Trinity doctrine.
Matthew faithfully copies Mark, but the author of Luke was not prepared to do so, replacing these words with, "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit." The author of John was generally copying Luke, but because he saw Jesus as truly divine, Luke's words were inappropriate. He chose "It is finished."
So it can be seen that God turned his back on Christ in the first two gospels, but not in Luke's Gospel or John's Gospel.
God did not enjoy crucifixion of his own son. Jesus is the perfect lamb, the pure person. For him to die for our sins, he had to have sin. He literally had to become sin to save us. God can not be in the presence of sin, so when Jesus was crucified, he literally had to turn his back on him. He didn't want to, but he had to.
A:In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and John, Pontius Pilate alone tried Jesus and sentenced him to death, although most unwillingly. In the Gospel of Luke, Pontius Pilate was asked by the religious authorities to try and sentence Jesus but, being unwilling to sentence an innocent man and learning that Herod Antipas was in Jerusalem, sent Jesus to Herod to be sentenced. Herod, in turn, was unwilling to sentence Jesus and so left Pilate with this terrible responsibility.
Psalms is old testament ... that's BC.
Jesus said "If somone slaps you on the right cheek turn to him the other also." That means don't hit them back, forgive them
It signified that he found no fault in Jesus, thinking that He was innocent, and that he wanted no part in the sentencing. However, since he didn't turn Jesus loose, but sent Him back to Herod, he did play a part.
If by Jesus you mean optimus prime, yes.
jesus
NO......
It means that Jesus has turned his back on you and that you must turn your life around! Stop doing drugs, drinking pee or whatever else it is that you shouldn't be doing!
The Jews did not turn Judas. He did it voluntarily. However, the Jews jumped at the opportunity as they had been seeking a way to arrest Jesus.

It is your own opinion, but personally in my opinion it does not. It will help them be saved when Jesus comes back to judge the whole world. Bible classes in school, help people turn to Jesus so that when they die, they'll be able to spend all eternity in heaven with God and Jesus.
