First of all, you seem to have your religions mixed up. Only Christianity belives that Jesus was the messiah, while Judaism believes he has not come yet (one main difference between the two religions).
But to answer your question, Jesus wasn't hailed as a messiah during his lifetime, he was merely a preacher (of Judaism, in fact). However, after Jesus was crucified, and then rose from the dead, a large number of people believed that this act signaled him as God's son, the messiah. This group of people became known as Christians (from the Greek Christos, meaning holy), and split away from Judaism. They then spread this message far and wide, and Christianity has evovled into one of the world's largest religions today.
Master, Teacher, Messiah
Yes, Mormons believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
because may be 1) reveals by the Father that Jesus is the Messiah, 2) intuitively know that Jesus is the long waited Messiah, 3) Jesus told him he is the Messiah or show him some miracles to him and he instantly believe Jesus is the Messiah 4) he had a dream last night that today he will meet the Messiah 5) Philip believed the testament of John the baptist who said that Jesus is the Messiah, I think he is one of the most faithful disciple of John the baptist. Jesus saw his total faith that Philip believed that he is the Messiah, therefore Jesus choose him.
Christians believe that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. Jews disagree.
No Islam does not believe that Jesus is messiah they believe that there is no messiah. They also believe that works get you to go to live with God (in Arabic Allah) in heaven. I for one believe that Jesus is messiah that he is the only way to get into heaven and that you have to believe that he died on the cross for our sins so that we might be saved.
The Jews do not believe that Jesus is the real Messiah, they are waiting for the messiah to come.
Christians believe he is.
They do not believe in Jesus.
No, at least not as Messiah.
Catholics believe that Jesus was the Messiah and the Son of God, as well as the fulfiller of the Jewish religion. Jews believe that Jesus was not the Messiah, and they are still waiting for the Messiah to come.
Judaism does not accept Yeshua (jesus) as messiah
Jewish people believe that Jesus Christ wasn't the real Messiah and they are still waiting for the Messiah. They believe that Jesus was a fake Messiah. They could believe that Jesus didn't raise up or won't be raised up because he "sinned" a lot by faking but they do believe that only God knows who will go to heaven and who will go to Hell.
