Why didn't Jainism spread around the world?

I think it's because Hinduism is one of the few religions that does not actively propagate itself. Hindu's haven't sent missionaries, or they're Hindu equivalents, to foreign nations to convert people.

Jainism is a very "sukshma" minutely defined religion...Its very deep and needs a perfect understanding of "samay"(time) and "kaal''(periods) chakra, with its rotating graphs of souls(Trus-Naadi).If this concept is clear than its easy to understand the grades of Thirthankaras to vasudevs/baldevs or any other living being in itself!! From here onwards its possible to understand the theory of Karma and truths (tatva,bodha). Unfortunately this is not preached unanimously or equally. Hence the differences in teachings confuse and refrain masses from following this unique and truly fine religion."M sad for that.

Unlike other religions Hinduism and Buddhism teach us that Number pf people is not important for a religion i.e., If a Religion has 10,00,00,000 people that Religion need not be the Greatest of all Religions.But, if a religion has only 1 person following the religion with discipline and rituals of particular religion then that religion is considered to be the greatest.
