Jehovah's Witnesses seek to convert people because they believe it is their duty to share their interpretation of The Bible and God’s message. They view this as a way to help others find salvation and eternal life through adherence to their teachings. Additionally, they believe that spreading their faith is a command from Jesus Christ, as outlined in the Great Commission to preach to all nations. Their evangelism reflects their commitment to their beliefs and desire to build a community of like-minded individuals.
The Jehovah's may try to convert you to their religion, so stand your ground. Generally, it is safe, however, from harm,as they are nice people, like most all people.
Often. Particularly on line, as can be seen that they aren't really "clean cut" Witnesses. Armed with knowledge of jehova's Witness doctrine and dogma, they appear to try to misrepresent Witnesses. They may be spotted by the simple camouflage of preceding an answer with "Answer from a Witness". That's not enough to tell, but when the answer engenders distrust of Witnesses as a whole, it is more of an indication.

Evangelist. Proselytiser. Nuisance.
Well, we Jehovah Witnesses take care of our safety. We try to stay away from people we are not too sure of, and if the person who invited the Jehovah's Witness member is not a Jehovah's Witness, we say no. However, if it is a Jehovah Witness who invited a Jehovah Witness to a sleepover, it depends.
If the court believes their false witness and not yours you could be put in jail. A good lawyer will try to prove the false witness is false.
These were the three primary reasons Europeans went to Malaysia - to witness the Christian gospel to the natives and try to convert them, to get rich and to become famous.
They don't try to 'convert' anyone. They try to interest them in religion.
That will depend on the potential convert. Some might be easily converted; others - like me - already have their firm beliefs and won't convert no matter how many people try to convert them.
preach about the gospels and the word of god and try to convert people
Homosexuality isn't a belief; you can't convert someone to it. Sexual orientation is fixed at a very young age, possibly at birth.
They'll probably be offended if you try to convert them. You'd be offended if they tried to convert you to their (non)beliefs. That being said, you do have a responsibility as a Christian to witness. How do we rectify the obvious conflict? We are told to be a witness to all non believers. We are not instructed to badger or hound. You witness by living a Christian life, not by pounding someone on the head as some would have you believe is right. You become a witness when you do the right thing when it is not easy. By paying debts owed without making people beg for their money back. By not doing things that are against God's principles. You certainly have an obligation to do these issues in any event. If someone asks why you do not do thing that are wrong, you can state that you do so to honor Christ. THAT is a witness to the unbeliever. The only person that could be offended is a person with a serious chip on their shoulder. They are considered too foolish to continue dealing with anyway. You wipe our feet of them and no longer deal with them. That is a true witness and can not bother any reasonable human. Badgering does little good and is offensive to everyone. It is your job to be a light, not a nag.
