It is not forbidden by Catholicism to believe in evolution. The reason many people who believe in a god do not believe in evolution is that evolution's adversary, Intelligent Design, makes far more sense to one who believes in God that anyone who does not, although you can believe in intelligent design and not believe in God.
Many Muslims and Orthodox Jews do not " believe " in evolution. Of course the truth does not need you belief to be true and something can be true whether you believe it or not. I should re-word this question. Is there an atheist that doesn't agree with evolution? There may be an atheist that does not agree with evolutionary theory, but what difference would that make? If there was someone out there I would like to hear his views on evolution.
Catholic believe and follow the works of Jesus, but Judaism did not agree of it because they await the messiah to come. Most of their teaching based from the law of Moses.
Ya!
Usually, the only ones who agree with stereotypes are close minded people who, of course, agree with the stereotype themselves. Open minded people will usually not believe in stereotypes.
Because they have a different idea of how the world came to be. The choose the Biblical explanation: about the creation of earth 6 days. They find it hard to believe that we evolved from single cell organisms and evolved for billions of years. Maybe because they don't know better
I personally believe we have evolved but I also believe in God. Even if I agree clear back to the big bang theory (which I do) no scientist has ever adequately explained where the stuff that created the BIG BANG came from. It had to start somewhere and creation by God seems pretty logical to me.
I`m religious and I believe in them.Yes
well, they can be christian, catholic, atheist, or what ever they choose to believe in. <><><> Agree with above. There are more than 37 MILLION people in California at this time. They will believe in different things.
Well, whether you agree with evolution or not, it's a FACT. I suggest you read the Wikipedia article on Evolution, to get a general idea. There are also good videos on YouTube which explain you the science part; for example, several videos by Aron Ra.
You have to believe in yourself and keep trying.

Evolution is not a religion, nor is it necessary to choose between God and evolution. There is overwhelming evidence for evolution, which is regarded as a fact of science that can only be disputed by people who choose not to know about the strength of the evidence. Thus, evolution is not something merely to believe in, but can be proven and demonstrated. If it really were necessary to choose between religion and evolution, then many would be forced to agree with evolution simply because it can not be denied, other than by choosing not to know the science. Fortunately for the world's religions, it really is possible to believe in God and accept the science of evolution. This may mean regarding the biblical creation as an allegory, but creation literally in six days does not have to be a core belief of Christianity. For more information, please visit: http://christianity.answers.com/theology/the-story-of-creation
