Not just religious believers... I'm an atheist - and even I believe that - unless there's some serious medical condition that needs coping with in a medical setting - the elderly should be cared for by their relatives at home ! Far too many older people are simply 'dumped' on an already over-stretched health service by their families - and abandoned to end their days rotting in a hospital bed !
