Why do we exist?

You exist simply because you can. You have no purpose until you give yourself one. The only thing at all that you can be sure of is that, eventually you will return to that from which you came, the Earth.

This world is mortal everyone has to die so do good works in this world and take care others and don't think about yourself only.

(To expand its own abilities for the greater good) Who you ask is the greater good? (A Soul that is held in a place of no stimulation is in Hell). There is so much more I can tell you all just ask. "Blind Faith" just isn't a good enough reason to exist, not when there's so much more.

For that is what science dictates, according to the evolution of all. Personally why you exist is to find fulfillment; whether that be through family, happiness, friends, religion, work, money, laziness or indulgence depends upon the person.

Jewish Answer:

The philosophy of Judaism is that this world is a purposeful creation by God, in which all people are tested concerning their use of free-will. We possess a soul which lives on after the body dies and is held responsible for the person's actions. Anyone who is worthy, Jewish or not, can merit reward in the afterlife.

God made the Earth for people: "He did not create [the earth] simply for nothing," but "formed it to be inhabited" (Isaiah 45:18). He wanted them to exist in order to have someone to love. When the righteous use their free-will to obey God despite His being hidden, they have shown that they deserve His love. Their reward will never cease. But even the undeserving are given the kindness of life in this world, and the lifelong ability to draw near to Him.

Contrary to religious and philosophical belief there is no reason for your existence. People simply "are" as individuals. They have no mission, goal, purpose, higher life to aspire to etc. As a race humanity exists only to reproduce.

You don't HAVE to but when you live life to the great extremes it's always a good decision from... god, big bang or whatever you believe in! Whether your life has been bad because of a relationship or an extremely bad score in a test a few days later you feel much better and forget about all those bad happenings and possibly feelings. And although people think they hate themselves the next day they are so glad they are alive. Through your existance you will meet challenges and some you may have to face alone, but if you always try to stay on the optimistic side of things life will always turn out more positive than you can ever imagine. If you look at a cup and the cup has half a glass of water just think... is this glass half full or half empty. And if it's half empty try to face those challenges and stay happy then one day that glass might be half full again. It might be in your opinion that you're the only one who hates life or maybe you might even like it but there are always others out there who feel the same way as you. Even if you have experienced bad or good there is ALWAYS a solution to turn from down to up! :P
