Islam is as old as the universe creation. Islam is an Arabic word that means surrender and submission to god. In this sense the first creation of any thing, alive or not alive, was created on the principle of Islam, that is submission to God (Allah in Arabic the Creator. Then upon creation of mankind, that started by creation of Adam, all God prophets; including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad; called people to Islam, that submission to God (Allah in Arabic) the Creator the one and only one God.

Well actually no faith is the most important. All have their reasons and meanings, all have their differences. Christianity, for example. Christians try to add people to their religion by converting, not force. Muslims believe that by inducing fear into others will give them in heaven, what is denied on earth. Christians believe that, if they believe that their Lord and Savior, Jesus, died on a cross to take all the sin from the world, and if they simply believe, they will get to heaven.
