Of course it does. The Protestant church consists of many denominations of the Christian church that are all orthodox in their beliefs. As forgiveness after repentance is an important aspect of Christian teaching, forgiveness is not only believed in the Protestant church but is a necessary part of Christian life.
of course it isn't necessary for christians to be married in a church it is a tradition that isn't really acustomed it's only that most christians feel most comfortable knowing that their marriage is being covered by God

Being a Christian is - or should be - a way of life. Regularly visiting the church is just a small part of it. The most important part is everyday life and the way one treats the others. Evil thoughts and deeds are against the spirit of Christianity.
There is no "should" about being part of a church. You must have the want to go. People go to church because of beliefs and wanting to worship where they most feel comfortable.
