This girl was essentially a medium in contact with demons who could supposedly predict the future. Christianity does not have anything to do with demons. This girl was not only under the control of demons but also under her masters who made a lot of money by keeping her in this condition (although these people had no idea of how to rid her of demons they were exploiting her for profit). She was a danger and a pest to Paul and his company/ministry and was obliged by God to rid her of demons.
In the bible your spirit means your life force Job27:3 Gen 2:7
The gifts of the Spirit are spoken of at greatest length by the Apostle Paul in First Corinthians. You will also find considerable mention of them (or allusions to them) in the gospels, Acts, Romans, and Hebrews.
Paul The Apostle was arrested in Caesarea.
Saul of Tarsus. He was later known as Paul: Acts 13:9 Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him
All of the apostles, as a group (Acts 5), Peter(Acts 12), Paul and Silas (Acts 16), Paul (Acts 22), Aristarchus (Colossians 4).
The Book of Acts is the first ministry of Paul going to the Gentiles. This book of Acts proves that the Lord loves everyone equally unlike the traditional teachings of his culture in which "Gentiles" were frowned upon. It is also significant that Paul does missionary work. This is commendable and fitting since Paul experienced a spiritual experience with Jesus Christ who is God which changed his entire life.
In the book of Acts there are numerous instances of God communicating in various ways to various people. Acts 2 God used Peter, empowered by the Holy Spirit to preach the first gospel message. Acts 8 God used an angel to direct Philip Acts 10 God speaks to Peter through a vision and the Holy Spirit Acts 13 The Holy Spirit speaks to Barnabas and Paul Acts 18 The Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision. Acts 26 Paul recounts when Jesus spoke to him. The Bible also says God has spoken to us through His son - Hebrews 1:2. This is a particular way God has spoken to mankind through Jesus' example and teaching. God speaks to people through His written word, the Bible. God's word is living and powerful and it is able to correct and teach people. The Bible says God is the unchanging - Malachi 3:6 - so it is not unreasonable to say God still speaks to people in these various ways in this present day.
Arguably the whole of the Acts of the Apostles is about the apostle Paul, but the second part is certainly about Paul.
The event of Pentecost is described primarily in the New Testament book of Acts, authored by Luke. In Acts 2, he details the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the apostles and the subsequent birth of the Christian Church. Additionally, references to the significance of the Holy Spirit and the experiences of the early Christians can also be found in the letters of Paul and other New Testament writings.
Yes. Paul was first mentioned in the book of Acts, Acts 7:58, his name was Saul then. Later his name changed to Paul, Acts 13:9. Paul also wrote 13 books in the new testament, Romans - Philemon.
It was By the Power Of the Holy Spirit, that made St. Paul experience Christ on the way to Damascus.
The Bible does not provide a clear answer to whether Paul committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
