The Bible teaches that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is for all mankind. So many will be saved when given the truth and opportunity to decide upon accepting Christ or not.
Yes, in their lifetimes, many believe that because they are in a particular branch of Christianity, they are automatically saved. But this is not the case and many will find it out at the Judgment Process. Currently, God the Father is only calling the firstfruits in their lifetimes - the Spring or smaller harvest. At the end of the Millennial Rule, the larger/fuller Fall harvest will include the vast majority of all who God created.
A:Unless born-again Christians believe they are the only saved people, one should wonder why they set themselves apart from other Christians. On the other hand, all other Christians believe they are 'saved', or will be saved, so for them the answer must surely be 'no'. Who knows, maybe the atheists are right after all, and salvation has no real meaning.

Being Saved By the Body & Blood Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
We Christians believe that Jesus died for the sins of the world on the cross at Calvary, and if we believe he died and rose from the dead we shall be saved.
The "elect" are those Christians who are saved; it is a concept from Calvinism. Since God is omniscient, he already knows who is saved and who is not. These people may or may not know they are saved themselves, but either way they are the "elect."
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that they are saved by the grace and power of Jesus Christ. Many other Christian groups do not accept this claim and say that Mormons are not really Christians and therefore cannot possibly be saved. Whether Mormons truly are saved is for God to decide. Mormons believe that they are saved, but other Christians believe they are not. Check out the "Related Links" to learn more.

1. AnswerChristians are not prefect. Nobody is. As such, this is why a savior was needed. Christians are not perfect, but they are saved because of what Jesus did on the cross. Through the shedding of His blood, we are saved through faith in Him as our Lord and Savior. I'm sure other Christians can state this better than I.Even after a Christian is saved, they are still not perfect and sin just like everybody else, but they are supposed to try not to just because God wouldn't want them to.
Bringing others to know Jesus Christ so they will be saved.
