Evolution is a theory put forth by a man called Charles Darwin. He postulated that animals evolve over time, and that when animals gain favorable mutations, it increases their chances of survival and therefore mating. When they mate they pass on their mutations to their young and spread the change throughout the species. Atheists, who don't believe in a god(s), find that this is the most likely way that animals came to be on earth.

If you don't believe that a supernatural force brought into existence all life into its present form, evolution is pretty much your only option to explain the diversity of life. Luckily there s sufficient evidence for evolution that it can easily be accepted as a fact (like gravitation) and np "belief" (in the religious sense) is required.Ansswer:In that atheists do not have any common "beliefs" except that there are no gods, they are free to believe in anything they want. As the usual opposite for evolution is creationism, and that belief requires a god, atheists would no believe in it. However alternate theories (panspermia, we're all figures in computerr game like in The Matrix, the rest of you are just figments on my imagination, etc.) the belief in evolution is not a 100% sure thing.
There is no set atheist belief for how the world was created. Atheism is just a lack of belief in any deity. Thus an atheist will not believe that a deity was involved in the formation of the earth. Atheists would in all likelihood all subscribe to one of the many scientific theories about the origins of the universe and the resulting origin of the earth. That means, they (we) would take a naturalistic view on its origins: The Big Bang Theory, "M" Theory, and so forth. Atheism is not a religion. There is no unifying belief, only a unifying lack of belief. So atheists do not all actually 'believe in' anything. Atheists do not share beliefs or morals nor is there a code of belief for atheism. Therefore, while some atheists may believe Earth was formed from the sun as science dictates, and some can believe aliens made Earth, 'atheists' in general have no general "beliefs'. Atheists generally rely on science to explain the natural world. They do not create myths to explain things that cannot be explained yet.
Random chance. IF you want to believe that someone (or thing) started it you are then left with the question of who or what made Him (or It).
explain in brief the evolution of the computer
No, there are no other theories but the theory of evolution by natural selection that explain so much about evolution.
Answer:Cosmologists and astrophysicists (people who study such matters) explain the creation of the Earth (the ball of solids, liquids and gases we live on) as the result of the mutual attraction and accumulation of matter created (either after the "Big Bang" or in process of continual conversion of matter into energy) through gravitational attraction and the pressure of light. The view is not the view of atheism but of science. As atheists have no supernatural belief to explain the existence of the Universe, the opinions and findings of science must, by default, be theirs.
The best way to respond to this is to explain that there is the fact of evolution and the theory of evolution. Evolution is defined as genetic change within a population. This is an easily observable fact both in nature and the laboratory. The theory of evolution is an explanation for the diversity of life on earth based on the observable facts that evolution does indeed occur. It is exactly the same situation with gravity. Gravity is a fact, an easily observed physical phenomenon. But there is also a Theory of Gravitation, an explanation for the phenomenon itself and how it works. That there is a theory for both evolution and gravity does not mean the facts of evolution and gravity are any less true.

Primarily, the "design" argument is religious-faith-based construct and simply a new name for creationism. Atheists simply do not accept religious-faith-based arguments to explain the natural world. Atheists tend to reject the design argument mainly because of our current knowledge of the theory of evolution. The vast majority of natural things which appear designed, such as wings, have been shown to be the process of evolution by natural selection. There remain some things which appear designed that haven't yet been explained by evolutionary theory, but atheists typically argue that these are minor, and will be explained eventually since there is abundant evidence that supports evolution and it can be reproduced in the laboratory. Another common line of argument is that the few things we cannot currently explain by evolution may never be explained, and for the time being it is better to say "we do not know" than "this means God did it". Scientific research is an ongoing process. For an interesting and comprehensive discussion of 'intelligent design aka creationism" see the link provided below for the decision in Kitzmiller vs Dover.
Atheism is the lack of belief in deities and doesn't deal in things like what "thought" is.Thought is the manifestation of the interworking of the physical brain. Dualists believe that mind and matter are separate, but monists, such as atheists, believe mind is a pure by-product of the brain, nothing more.
It doesn't. Evolution is explained by population genetics, evolutionary theory.
A belief in fingerprints is not part of the process of being an atheist. Atheists have concluded there is no god and are generally happy to accept that there are fingerprints (This position on fingerprints is not however a required position for an atheist)
