Council of Trent has such an Anglo-Saxon sound it is often ignored it took place in Trent ( or Trento) Italy. Trevor is obviously English. It is an odd thing they used to talk about the Council of Trent- like it was something still in force- something almost in the present tense- in religious magazines and in Sunday School . I only learned much later, that it took place in essentially Elizabethan times.
