Parables are typically succinct stories that convey moral or spiritual teachings. Common concerns across parables include the importance of compassion, kindness, humility, forgiveness, and the consequences of one's actions. They often highlight universal truths and offer guidance on how to live a virtuous life.
All four of the gospels had his parables, but I think that the answer would be the book of Luke.

The parable of the Lost Coin is the second parable in a group of three parables - The Lost Sheep, The Lost Coin and the Lost Son. If you look at the context of the parables, you will see the parables are specifically about God's love for the 'lost' nation of Israel. Jesus tells these parables in response to a complaint by the scribes and Pharisees that He is associating with common people Luke 15:1-3 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them." So He spoke this parable to them, saying: Apart from the primary application to Israel, these three parables are about God's love for people who are lost.

Parables are, by their nature, fiction. Jesus is thought to have told many parables in order to teach the moral truths behind the parables, not because the parables were literally true. A second element of fiction is identified when we realise that it is unlikely that Jesus actually spoke these parables, and that most or all of them were created by writers long after his death so as to give substance to Jesus' teachings. This is as true of the parable of the Prodigal Son as of other New Testament parables.
It is unlikely that any of the parables were real. In fact, it is likely that most, if not all, of the parables were never really spoken by Jesus. Most of the parables attributed to Jesus are in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Scholars say that these parables were copied by the authors of these two gospels from the hypothetical 'Q' document. The Q document, in turn, was built up in four layers over a period of several years. It seems likely that, at best, only the parables of the first layer could really have been spoken by Jesus, with the later parables being pious additions.
