Jesus added "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" (see Leviticus 18:20) & "Defraud not" (see Leviticus 19:13)

Every one of the Ten commandments from the Old Testament is repeated in the New in one form or another except one. This is the command to keep the sabbath which is not part of the New Testament.

While the 10 Commandments are found in the Old Testament, they are referenced and discussed in the New Testament. In the teachings of Jesus, he often reinforces the principles contained within the commandments, emphasizing the importance of love, service to others, and obedience to God's will.

The Ten Commandments are mentioned in Matthew 22:34-40 where Jesus condensed them into two. Also in Matthew chapter 5:17-30 (known as the Sermon on the Mount) Jesus expands on the law of Moses and teaches what it means beyond the letter of the law - what is means in one's heart. The law says 'do not murder' but being angry with someone breaks the essence of that law.

The Gospels of the New Testament can be described as what?

The New Testament can be described as The New Law as The Old Testament is to The Old Law. Christ brought a new law with Him which was to replace the old law as taught in the Old Testament. He taught that He was the Christ, the son on a living God. He also gave new commandments which the people were to live by doing away with the old, such as An eye for an eye. He taught that we were to love those who did harm to us and to love our neighbour as ourselves. He gave us the ten commandments and taught us how to pray. To go the extra mile when the need arose. He taught that everyone would be resurrected.
