Yes. In Judges 9:23 " Then God sent an evil spiritbetween Abimelech and the men of Shecem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech".
he is the 3rd person in the holy trinity we learn about him in In John 14:26, we learn that the Holy Spirit is our Counsellor and teacher: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." In 1 Corinthians 3:16, we see that the Holy Spirit lives inside us: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" he is the 3rd person in the holy trinity we learn about him in In John 14:26, we learn that the Holy Spirit is our Counsellor and teacher: "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." There are two answers and they both arrive at the conclusion that you can not control the spirit of God. Either God exists and is all-powerful, in which case no one can control the spirit of God, or he simply does not exist and no one can control the spirit of a non-existent God.
John 14 and 15 speak of the time when Christ will return to Heaven. In John 14:16-20, Jesus emphasized that after His departure to be with the Father, the disciples would NOT simply be abandoned or orphaned. Rather, Jesus would ask the Father who is greater than He, to send the power of the Holy Spirit (1 John 3:24) to them so both the Father and Jesus the Son would dwell inside true Christians (John 14:20, 23). In John, the Holy Spirit is referred to the 'Comforter or Helper.' In the Greek it is parakletos which is a masculine noun requiring a masculine pronoun. It does not mean it is a person. In John 15:26 we read, "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the SPIRIT OF TRUTH which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me."The Holy Spirit of God imparts both understanding and strength. It flows out from God which we read above in 15:26 and connects our minds to His. God is both Spirit (John 4:24) and Holy (Leviticus 19:2; Revelation 15:4). The Holy Spirit is not some separate and distinct personality of the Godhead. Rather, the Holy Spirit is the means by which Christ and the Father make their presence felt in the hearts and minds of believers. The Apostle Paul calls this power as the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:9). Luke refers to the Holy Spirit as God's outflowing power (Luke 1:35). It is the means by which the Word created and brought into existence the entire Universe (Psalm 104:30).
When a person accepts Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (Born Again; Saved; Regenerated; come to the Lord, a Christian) the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in that person. The Holy Spirit is "God the Holy Spirit", the third person of the Trinity. I Corinthians 3:16-17, " Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are." I Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." The Christian's body is a temple because the Holy Spirit dwells with in them. We belong to God.
the word trinity isn't in the bible if your refering to it. they are not people Father (God) Son ( emanuel Christ Jesus) and the holy spirit
You can ask god forgiveness and ask god to enter your life. And he will send the holy spirit to be with you.
There are spirits and demonds. A demond is an "angel "of Satan (the devil). They I have seen and felt and heard in my house. Luckly, if you are a Christian you can just ask out loud "God please send these demonds away from me" . I have experianced his comfort afterwards and it is amazing. If you feel like someone is watching you and you know there is something there and you are scared then that is a demond. That's when you ask God to send them away. If not a Christian then that is too bad but all I can say is i lay on my back when I am scared. Now a spirit is not necisaraly EVIL. You have a spirit in you which is you. The after life is where your spirit goes when you die. If you don't believe in God and do not do enough good deeds you go to Hell. If you believe in god and do good deeds you go to Heaven. That is a spirit.
In the book of Judges chapter 9 says God sends evil spirits.
They worshipped an evil spirit called Maboya
NO. The anointing comes from the Holy Spirit.
A:1 Samuel 18:10 says that God put an evil spirit on Saul.
Hermes
The miracle of driving out an evil spirit is important because it reflects Jesus' authority and power over evil forces. It showcases his ability to bring deliverance and freedom to those oppressed by spiritual darkness. It also highlights the contrast between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan, demonstrating that Jesus' ministry is aimed at defeating evil and bringing about the reign of God's righteousness.
The controlling spirit in the Bible verse represents the power of God over evil forces and the importance of resisting temptation and staying faithful to God.
One Answer:No, what God created was all good (Genesis 1:31 / Deuteronomy 32:4 ). Evil began when an angel chose to turn away from God, and spread it's influence to others. (Ezekiel 28:11-19 here the King of Tyre is likened to this wicked angel Revelation 12:7-9)) . Soon God will eliminate evil entirely .(1 John 3:8)(Revelation 21:3-5)----------------Another view:God did create evil...read it direct form the bible itself >God Creates Evil And Peace"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." (Isaiah 45:7) Here it explicitly states that God creates evil as well as makes peace!!!Evil From God"Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?" (Lamentations 3: 38-39) Here we have the little known verse that plainly asserts that evil as well as good comes from the mouth of God!The Evil Spirit Of The Lord, 1"And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him." (I Samuel 16:23) Here it specifically describes an evil spirit from God!The Evil Spirit Of The Lord, 2"And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand." (I Samuel 19:9) Consider that many modern Judeo-Christians consider God the opposite of evil, yet here we have, again, the clear Biblical wording of evil coming from the LORD!!
God sends an evil spirit to torment Saul (1 Samuel 16:14) and his attendants suggest he send for David, a young warrior famed for his bravery and for his skill with the harp. Saul does so, and makes David one of his armor-bearers. From then on, "whenever the spirit from God came upon Saul, David would take his harp and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him."
God will send the evil ones who are condemed to hell to burn forever in the fire.
