"Ghosts", if real, are not what most people think they are. The Bible tells us that the dead know nothing...that when we die, we go into a sleep like state and have no contact with the living world and remain there until the day of reckoning. Therefore, those which are considered ghosts must, by definition, be demons. Islam contends that the soul of the dead is in Barzakh a state between life and the hereafter and cannot go back to life but must wait until a day of reckoning and calling forward to the hereafter; paradise or Hell. However, There is also the belief in Islam that a dead soul can communicate with a living soul during sleep, as it is believed in sleep that the living soul departs Dunya (life) and briefly experiences death. A pagan might say that ghosts are an energy of the deceased being that are bound to the earth plane for some reason. However, it is universally held that anyone who claims to be able to communicate with a loved one, in exchange for money or kind, is a charlatan and is to be avoided at all costs.

The most traditional technique reported seems to be to simply seat calmly in a place where the ghost has been seen and to make clear and calm questions that may be of interest (emotionally related) to the ghost.

'You cannot, fairies are not believed to exist.' Well, this is not entirely true. Alot of people believe in fairies, I included. If you are trying to communicate with fairies it's really quite simple. All you have to do is believe. Once the fairies know you believe in them and are sure that you maen them no harm they will most likely make themselves known to you. Once you are sure they are around say out loud(if you are alone) 'hello, my name is ____. I believe in you and would like to get to know you better.' Then listen for a response in your head. You most likely will not hear the response out loud. If you're not sure if there are fairies around try building fairy houses to try and attract them. * you can Use a Oija to talk to ghots (but I dont recomend that) * depending on the level of paranormal activity you can take a Digital Recorder and start asking questions to them (thats called a EVP) [Electronic Voice Phenomena]

* or I like to use this one if you dont have a recorder,

* first introduce yourself, then ask anything that its answer its a YES or NO * since some of them cant talk tell them to TAP something for YES once and TAP TWISE for NO, if you are Lucky enough you'll get an answer
