David brought the foreskins of 100 Philistines to King Saul as a dowry in order to marry Saul's daughter Michal. This was a requirement set by Saul as an act of revenge against the Philistines.
The Bible says: Michal, the daughter of Saul saw David dancing and leaping in the streets and she despised him in her heart.
Well, honey, it's pronounced "MEE-khahl." But let's be real, no one's gonna come after you with a pitchfork if you say it wrong. Just give it your best shot and keep on strutting like the fabulous diva you are.
The wife of Uriah was Bathsheba, who was initially married to Uriah, a soldier in King David's army. After David committed adultery with her, he arranged for Uriah to be killed in battle so he could marry Bathsheba.
David sent Uriah to the battle front, and he was killed in the war. David then married his widow Bathsheba.
NO. However, David did marry Saul's daughter, Michal.
Technically yes. Saul was trying to marry one of his daughters to David so he could somehow have an advantage over him and somehow that would make the Philistines kill him... (there is no clear reason). David turned down Saul's first daughter, Merab, after he tried to arrange a marriage for them. Saul then figured out that Michal was in LOVE with David, and again tried to have them married. David turned him down again, but Saul wasn't going to give up so easily. He was still trying to get David killed by the Philistines, so he said that David could marry Michal if he could get the foreskins (please don't ask what that is) of a hundred Philistines. So David was finally satisfied with this (an issue with pride and humbleness) and did just that. Only he killed 200 Philistines and brought back 200 foreskins to Saul (yummy). Then David and Michal were married. It said David married Michal to become the king's (Saul's) son-in-law, but it also mentions how much Michal loved David. 1 Samuel 18:27-28 David and his men went out and killed two hundred Philistines. He brought their foreskins and presented the full number to the king so that he might become the king's son-in-law. Then Saul gave him his daughter Michal in marriage. When Saul realized that the LORD was with David and that his daughter Michal loved David," So yeah it was prearranged. Though I feel as though Michal may have asked to marry David after he turned down Merab.
Michal David's birth name is Vladimr Stancl.
Michal David was born on July 14, 1960, in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

King David and Michal were separated for approximately 20 years. After David fled from Saul, he was forced to leave Jerusalem, and Michal was given to another man, Paltiel. Their separation lasted until David became king of Israel and brought Michal back to him. This period of separation is noted in the biblical accounts, particularly in 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel.
David married Saul's daughter Michal.
David had many wives Michal, Bathsheba were a few of them.
David danced in front of the ark on its way into Jerusalem and Michal disapproved. She thought he was acting disgracefully.
David won Michal's hand in marriage when he fulfilled King Saul's challenge to kill 100 Philistines all by himself. Michal was King Saul's daughter. King Saul hated David because he was jealous of him and was hoping that David would be killed trying to fulfill the King's request. David killed twice the number of Philistines required of the King and so Michal was given to David to be his wife. Ref: (I Samuel 18:26-30).
