When people go to heaven can they return to earth?
The Bible says that "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes," in heaven. So I think that if the people in heaven saw what happens on earth they would grieve. Therefore, I don't think they can see!

Can you be in the middle of hell and heaven?
No, not literally. You are here on earth, an actual place where you are living your life. There is scientific proof that earth exists, and proof that the human beings who live on earth also exist. But heaven and hell are part of a religious belief system, and neither can be proved-- they can only be believed, and they exist in the world of faith. To be one with God means to be in close proximity with Him. That is not to say you will be physically beside God; God is not physical, and neither are the souls of those who have ascended. This could be referring to heaven, not as clouds and all the things you see in movies, but as heaven as it truly is - a closer state to God. Another interpretation of this is that God created us in His own image; our souls that is. Therefore, it is as if we are the same as God in the respect that our souls are completely spiritual in nature. This is opposite to our bodies, which are physical in nature.
