Without knowing the background to your problem, you probably are not in a position to prove fraud or any other criminal offence. If you were, you could seek police assistance, but this would not solve your real problem, one of feeling cheated and left without emotional or spiritual support.

There are several organisations that provide support and help for those who have been brainwashed by fundamentalist Christian organisations. You could try contacting one of these for help. You may find one close to you in your telephone directory or, more probably, by searching the internet.

If there is a Hindu organisation near you, you could approach them for help. This does not mean you have to promise to return to your old faith, but they may help you out of a universal sense of charity.

Ultimately you have a decision to make. Is religion for you, and if so is this Christian or perhaps a return to the Hindu faith? If you feel you wish to be a Christian, you should look for a more moderate, mainstream Christian church, or you can remain agnostic or atheist in your worldview. What is important is not to hurry this decision. You can not make such an important decision until you have solved the crisis in your life.

Who was the Church of the Brethren circut rider during the civil war?

While the Church of the Brethren did not have official circuit riders during the Civil War, many individual Brethren ministers served as chaplains or traveled to provide spiritual support to soldiers on both sides of the conflict. One notable figure was Henry A. Kurtz, who was a prominent Brethren leader and editor of the church's periodical during that time.

Where in the New Testament does it say That which you do to the least of my creatures you do unto ME?

This phrase is not directly quoted in the New Testament. However, it is similar to the concept discussed in Matthew 25:40, where Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." This highlights the importance of showing compassion and kindness to others, as it is seen as doing the same for Jesus.

How is Joseph -one of Jacobs twelve sons- like Jesus?

Both Joseph and Jesus experienced betrayal by those close to them. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, while Jesus was betrayed by one of his disciples. Both Joseph and Jesus were able to rise to positions of power and authority after facing adversity and persecution. Additionally, both figures are seen as examples of forgiveness and redemption.

Why did Noah punish Canaan instead of Ham?

In the Bible, after Ham saw his father Noah naked and told his brothers, Noah cursed Canaan instead of Ham. This was likely symbolic of the consequences passing down to future generations, as Canaan was believed to be the ancestor of the Canaanite people who were the enemies of the Israelites. It was a form of punishment that extended beyond just Ham himself.

What does Genesis chapter 9 verse 22 mean?

In Genesis 9:22, it describes a situation where Noah, after the flood, became drunk and exposed himself in his tent. This verse is part of a larger story that illustrates Noah's imperfections despite being a righteous man chosen by God. It serves as a reminder that even those favored by God can fall short.
