John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God sent his son to die for us because he loves loves us, he created us, he loves us, and now we need to devote our lives to serving him, so that we will not perish but have eternal life.
The previous answerer pointed out the greatest act of love ever in the history of the universe, that being that God gave his son as a sacrifice for us.
There are other, smaller, but still evident ways that we can know that God loves us as well.
Consider how we are made. We are made with an ability to enjoy colors. We can appreciate music, art, and literature. The food we eat comes in an endless variety of flavors. All these things are not necessary to our survival, they are for our enjoyment. We are endowed with a sense of curiosity to explore. Wehave emotions that can make life more pleasurable. All these things and more give praise to a loving creator who wants us, not just to live, but to enjoy the life that we have.
Just like the first answer, God created us. Why would he create something so beautiful just to hate it. God does not hate. He loves all.

That means that good acts will come from people who are saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus and made righteous (though Christians still sin after they are saved, God is changing and molding them on a daily basis) and that bad acts come from unrighteous people. You cannot do one good thing without Jesus helping you. At no place in The Bible can you read that all one needs to do is "call" the name of the Lord. In all verses given you can read the words such as in Romans chapter 10 verse 13 "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." This shows that there is a difference between calling His name and calling upon His name. The question then is how do you go from calling His name to calling upon His name? First you must hear the Word. Mattew chapter 13 verse 9 "He who has ears let him hear." Hearing builds faith Romans chapter 10 verse 17 "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" Then you must belive. Romans chapter 10 verse 14. Then you must repent. Acts chapter 17 verse 30 and Acts chapter 2 verse38. And then be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. And in the book of Acts chapter 22 verse 16 it can be summed up with the verse reading "And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord." By doing what the word of God teaches you will know that you are saved.

∙ 12y agoOh it is indeed very easy , all you have to do is to truly believe in your heart that Jesus indeed died for yoy=ur sins on the cross and also arose again from the dead.
The above is in dispute. Scripture teaches that faith alone Is insufficient for salvation. Understanding the gospel, believing it, repenting of your sins, advocating for Christ (confessing his name) and having your old sins washed away in baptism are all necessary to enter the kingdom of Christ.
